Our choices are not always as simple as they seem…

A man walking across a field encountered a tiger.
He fled, the tiger chasing after him.
Coming to a cliff, he caught hold of a wild vine
and swung himself over the edge.
The tiger sniffed at him from above.
Terrified, the man looked down to where, below,
another tiger had come, waiting to eat him.
Two mice, one white and one black,
little by little began to gnaw away at the vine.
The man saw a luscious strawberry near him.
Grasping the vine with one hand,
he plucked the strawberry with the other.
How sweet it tasted!

Our choices are not always as simple as they seem.
But they are our choices……
Have a great weekend family,

  2. He had 4 choices,

Crawl back up the vine  – tiger waiting,
Drop to the ground – tiger waiting,
Feed the strawberry to the mice – they are no longer chewing on the vine
but How much longer could he hold on ? – or
Eat the strawberry himself – savoring the sweet taste
    of his last meal.

    And so "grasshopper" …..?
    Peace,
    Ten

  4. And to take it even further,
    regardless of what we do,
    death is  inevitable and
we need to savor each moment
    as if it were
    that last strawberry……
